Thule 831 and 832 Locking Straps are heavy-duty load straps made of a versatile lockable steel-core strap in either 10-foot or 13-foot lengths, designed to protect your kayaks, canoes, and other gear. Unlike standard nylon straps that come with most racks, which are primarily used for stabilizing items during transit, Thule Locking Straps are constructed with an interior steel band and an outer nylon sleeve, providing a justifiable security measure for all your load and hauling needs.

These straps are equipped with rubberized ends to prevent scratching on secured items and feature dependable Thule One-Key lock cylinders to ensure items are locked securely. Each purchase includes two straps. Thule offers a warranty on all Thule brand car rack systems and accessories, which terminates if the product is transferred to another person. This warranty does not cover defects from normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or unauthorized modifications or repairs.
